The Public Health Division provides safe sharps disposal for community use. If you have used needles that need to be disposed of, you can bring them to the Sharps Disposal Container on the first floor near the handicapped entrance to City Hall during regular business hours.

The sharp items must be in a puncture-proof container, such as a detergent bottle, and must be covered with the appropriate lid or cap.
The Lynn Police Department Collects the following items: (we do not accept them at the Public Health Division)
Prescription and over-the-counter medication, medication samples, vitamins, veterinary medications, narcotics, and liquid medications.
Other items that are not to be accepted include:
Thermometers, IV bags, personal care products, and inhalers.
