Licensing Commission

The mission of the Lynn License Commission is to issue, regulate and oversee the licenses of over 350 establishments of various types operation within the City of Lynn. Among the types of license are common victuallers restaurant licenses, all alcohol and beer and wine pouring licenses, all alcohol and beer and wine package store licenses, one day alcohol licenses, lodging house licenses and entertainment licenses.

The objective of the Lynn Licensing Commission is to provide services to the various license holders in the City of Lynn as well as to serve the residents and neighborhoods of the City of Lynn relevant to the operation of these licenses.

The Lynn License Commission is also responsible for the enforcing of rules and regulations of the Lynn License Commission as well as any violation of MGL Chapter 138 in conjunction with the Massachusetts ABCC.

Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month at the Lynn City Hall, Room 107. The meeting schedule, when available, is displayed in the City Clerk office and webpage as well as our Online Calendar.
