Testimonials from past interns:

"My internship with the Lynn public health department was a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public health. I assisted with events like flu vaccine clinics, interacted with community members, and learned about the resources available to them. The experience gave me valuable insight into various public health career paths and the importance of community involvement. The team was friendly and always involved me in new learning opportunities, which made the experience even more beneficial.

This internship helped me get into nursing school and even secured me a scholarship for my community involvement. I highly recommend this opportunity to anyone interested in gaining real-world experience, building connections, and making a meaningful impact in public health."

"In the fall semester I had the honor of working with Kitzia at Lynn City Hall and it was such a lovely experience! We got to see the inner workings of the Public Health Department, learning about everything that happens to keep a city functioning. It was so interesting because there are so many things that I did not think about that needed to be done, such as predicting how many people would want vaccines for an upcoming flu season or being a helping hand to the unhoused population. It provided wonderful insights about how hard the Public Health Department works for the community. If you are interested in the public health realm of healthcare, please consider taking the opportunity to intern at Lynn City Hall!"
