Combined Sewer Overflow – Initial Notification
Please be advised that Combined Sewer Overflows have occurred due to heavy rainfall at 4:05 PM, October 21, 2023 from the Lynn Water and Sewer Commission combined sewer system into surface waters of the Lynn Harbor. As of this notification, the CSO discharge is ongoing. The overflow consists, or likely consists, of untreated or partially treated sewage and waste. Avoid contact with these water bodies for 48 hours after the discharge or overflow ceases due to increased health risks from bacteria and other pollutants.
