$18.71/hour (Fiscal Year 2024)
$19.37/hour (Fiscal Year 2025)
Duties, Qualifications and Requirements
• Will issue citations to vehicles violating city parking regulations and laws.
• Able to write with clear and neat penmanship.
• Able to follow directions.
• Excellent physical condition. Work is outdoors and requires considerable walking.
• Required to work emergency situations when essential personnel are needed.
• Bilingual/bicultural applicants strongly encouraged to apply.
• When applicants are substantially similar in terms of qualifications, preference will be given to candidates who have resided in the City of Lynn for a continuous twelve-month period prior to the date of posting.
*Per agreement with AFSCME Local 193, an employee working second or third shift (4PM-8AM) will receive a 10% shift differential.
**Please note that the salary scale is projected according to contractually negotiated salary increases with AFSCME Local 193 through Fiscal Year 2025.
