$80,599.50 (Base Salary)
$84,629.48 (5% experience incentive, added after six months if not eligible for educational incentive benefit)
$88,659.45 (Base + 10%, Associate’s Degree)
$96,719.40 (Base + 20%, Bachelor’s Degree)
$100,749.38 (Base + 25%, Master’s Degree)

DUTIES:
The Assistant Systems Coordinator of Payroll and Budget shall be responsible for all aspects of coordination and submission of the weekly payroll. Supervises all functions of the department’s Payroll unit; Provides requested payroll data and related calculations and spreadsheets to assist the Treasurer/Collector in preparation and maintenance of the departmental budget.

The duties shall include, but are not limited to:
• Utilizes MUNIS to process the department’s weekly payroll, with all benefits and changes occurring throughout the year; maintains close telephone contact various City departments to resolve pertinent payroll issues; ensures that weekly paychecks are sorted and distributed to employees in a timely manner.
• Enters and processes data related to all new employee enrollment; verifies and processes all personnel payroll account updates, including changes in employee address information, pay rates, and deductions.
• Resolves issues, identifies errors, responds to inquiries regarding payroll; processes and completes employee verification forms.
• Monitors, processes and reconciles all payroll vendor payments.
• Maintains backup pay scales spreadsheet and pay computation sheet. Makes adjustments to coincide with new contractual raises.
• Provides a variety of budget related calculations and reports related to the preparation of the annual fiscal budget, new contractual and retroactive payments, and budget projections for the hiring of new employees.
• Collect, reconcile and balance weekly tax payments into the 941 Quarterly reports. Make weekly, timely and accurate payroll tax payments and collect and maintain accurate records to prepare and generate year end w-2s for all employees.
• Performs related duties as assigned by the Treasurer/Collector.
