Solid Waste (Trash) Fees

Due to rising solid waste costs, effective January 1st, 2021 any residence with additional barrels leased through Waste Management will incur an additional solid waste fee from the City.

A single trash bill will now be mailed in July to coincide with FY2025. Payments will be due on August 1st and October 1st, with the option to pay the entire bill simultaneously.

Bills must be paid within 30 days from the issuance of the bill. Penalties for late payments will be applied. Please note that the bill will be increased from $90 to $108.

Interest on late payments will accrue from the due date at a rate of 8% per annum. Any amounts remaining unpaid after the due date may be placed as a lien on the next tax bill and/or subject to all collection procedures permitted by law.

All past due balances will be assessed a $30 Demand fee.

At present, this bill will not be paid by your mortgage company.
