Combined Sewer Overflow – Cessation Notification
Please be advised that Combined Sewer Overflows due to heavy rainfall, have ceased at 3:25 PM on July 25, 2024 from the Lynn Water & Sewer Commission combined sewer system into surface waters of the Lynn Harbor. As of this notification, the CSO discharge has ceased. The overflow consists, or likely consists, of untreated or partially treated sewage and waste. Avoid contact with these water bodies for 48 hours after the discharge or overflow ceases due to increased health risks from bacteria and other pollutants.
