Work hours: Monday-Wednesday, Friday 8:30AM-4PM; Tuesday, 8:30AM-5PM

$22.77 per hour, plus benefits
Overview:
The Lynn Senior Center seeks a conscientious, safety-minded professional to manage the Center’s meal distribution provided by a third party vendor.
Duties & Qualifications:
• Coordinate day to day kitchen operations at the Lynn Senior Center
• Assist with ordering, setup, serving and cleanup of catered meals prepared by third party vendor.
• Ability to clean, sanitize and maintain kitchen according to Massachusetts Department of Public Health regulations.
• Ability to lift minimum of 25 lbs.
• Perform all compliance required by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, along with 1-2 years of experience in food service.
• Serv-Safe and Allergen Awareness Certification highly preferred.
• Experience with 60+ population highly valued.
• Good social, interpersonal, listening, observation, and oral communication skills.
• Patient, flexible, and dependable attitude required.
• May, from time to time, be asked to assist Director and Senior Center staff with activities and projects.
• Bilingual/bicultural candidates strongly encouraged to apply.
• When applicants are substantially similar in terms of qualifications, preference will be given to candidates who have resided in the City of Lynn for a continuous twelve-month period prior to the date of posting.
